In this position my work has pivoted, allowing me to work in the development and set up of core foundations to enable myself and peers to ship faster.

• Conceived and deployed tools for improving the development workflow and CI/CD pipeline in GitHub actions which decreased time to market by 20%.
• Created and established reverse proxy capabilities to allow for authenticated communications to hit the team’s services within GCP.
• Contributed to enabling authentication flows from GCP to AWS and vice versa.
• Crafted a webhook engine, a middleware framework for our APIs and a wrapper for a better deloper experience using GCP services.

Other duties at this role include leading projects to completion, identifying pain points in the development process, onboarding and mentoring of new team members and introducing code quality standards that help the team meet deadlines and KPIs.

ENGINEER LEVEL 1 March 2023 - March 2024

• Assisted in the designing and implementing of a critical service for contacting and gathering information on clients which resulted in a better client experience and an increase in productivity of the operations team by 50%.
• Led the refactor of key services to make them more reliable resulting in 30% fewer errors and a performance improvement of 20% using event-driven design and highly available services principles.
• Helped improve the debugging capabilities of the team by enhacing the monitoring, logging and telemetry of the services.

My main responsibilities at this role were making key contributions to core projects of the team and participating in technical discussions.

• Developed a tool for managing user accesses for the company’s CLM platform.
• Implemented a tool for performing bulk changes in core platforms of the company making the application support team more efficient by 40%.
